ATS supported its partner, Ssangyong, to overcome major challenges which include:

• Construction in the heavily built up locality of Serangoon.
• Construction along main arterial roads – The southbound carriageways of Bukit Timah Road into Sungei Road.
• Ensuring the safety of the public and to minimise disruptions and inconveniences to road users and pedestrians given the close proximity of the project site to the arterial roads.
• Maintaining all 5-lanes carriageway both bounds fully operational at all times
